Registration fees
Ladies and gentlemen, dear participants of IMEKO2024,
We have become aware of at least one case of attempted fraud in which third parties have posed as Dr.-Ing. Prof. h. c. Frank Härtig in order to persuade guests to transfer money to other people's accounts. It has also been brought to our attention, that third parties using the IMEKO2024 footer offered participant lists of the conference.
Unfortunately, such attempts at fraud in the name of prominent personalities are commonplace on the Internet. Nevertheless, we would like to point out emphatically that neither the Physikalisch-Technische Bundesanstalt, the IMEKO2024 Organizing Committee nor individuals acting on behalf of these organizations will ever ask you to transfer money outside the established business channels and that personnel data will not be disclosed to third parties.

Please note, that the conference fee cannot be paid by credit card. The PTB as a federal higher authority unfortunately does not allow credit card or online payments. Payment must be settled by bank transfer. You will find all the necessary bank details on your invoice, which will be sent to the email address you registered with within one week.
